Vendor Load-In

We recognize that everyone is busy during this time so we are giving a couple date options for move-in: Tuesday, 11/ 22 - 3pm - 7pm  AND  Saturday, 11/ 26  - Noon - 6pm

We ask that, if possible, you choose one of the two times listed above. If you are unavailable at either of these times, we will work with you to find a time that we can grant you access to your Blake Street space.

Vendor Load-Out
Vendors are welcome to begin load-out following the completion of our December 18 (Tis the Season) event at 7pm. Additionally, Blake Street Studios will be open from 10am - 4pm on Monday, December 19th for load-out as well. Contact me with any special requests.

Amenities
• Key/lock to your space
• Electricity
• Wireless hi-speed internet
• Bathrooms
• Kitchen area/sink (please note, there is no refrigerator on premises)

Hours: Thursdays & Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays & Sundays 2-7pm (unless events dictate otherwise)

A City Market representative will open and close the main Blake Street doors at the aforementioned times. This rep will be present in the center of Blake Street Market during these open hours. For the times vendors can't be present in their shop, they are also available to collect payment for goods if instructed so by the vendor. For those who need this service, we will send more information regarding this in the coming days.

Events
The following is a list of marquee events we are hosting in City Market during the three week period of the Market. All shops should do their best to have a representative at these events, as we are expected substantial foot traffic during these times.

A City Market Christmas (Sunday, Nov. 27 - Noon-7pm)
Blake Street Market is host to Santa Claus as well as a kids' arts & crafts workshop that will drive a large number of shoppers to Blake St. Market!

Tis the Season Around the World (Sunday, Dec. 18 - Noon-7pm)
During this event, the market will again be host to Santa, as well as arts & crafts and a special international story-telling treat TBA.

Family & Friends Event (Saturday, Dec. 10 TBD)
More info TBA

Throwback Winter Not So Formal (Thursday, Dec. 15 - 6-11pm)
We are still finalizing the Market's involvement in this event - TBA

Classes/Demos
One of the advantages of having Blake Street host this market is its large common area. This provides the perfect location for classes or demonstrations for the public. We have a handful of dates available, which you can view on the Blake St Events Calendar I've sent everyone an invitation to view. If you have an idea for a class or demonstration you want to host, please email me directly!

Social Promos
We are still finalizing details around our social promotion efforts, but right now we are planning the following:

• Daily Featurettes: We will use the City Market facebook and twitter accounts to featuring a rotating carousel of vendors throughout the three week period.

• We will have an ongoing promo throughout the life of the market where customers can tweet a photo from one of our vendors using and hashtag #BlakeStMkt to be entered into a drawing to be held during our final, Dec. 18th event.

• More TBA

Passport to Blake Street Markets

As a way to entice the public to return repeatedly to Blake St. between the 11/27 event and the holidays, we are putting together a Blake St Market Passport booklet that we will distribute to the public. Within this booklet we will feature each one of your businesses (including a brief writeup about your business, photos and a coupon good for certain days). Your offering can be a discount, BOGO, free small gift, gift wrapping, etc that might entice return customers. Feel free to think outside the box on this offering as each of you know your audience/products best. Please email me with a paragraph about your business, what you'd like your offering to be and any details about it by November 16 - and of course, contact me with any questions.

Well that does it for now. Again, contact me with questions and please remember to share the events and market info with your friends and family!

Thanks you,
Ryan
